Chapter One: The Voice Beyond Time

Every great movement has an origin. Ours started in a record shop in 1974.

The Record Shop at the Edge of Everything

The year was 1974. The disco era was still finding its rhythm, bell-bottoms ruled the streets, and hidden among the crowded storefronts of downtown was a little record shop called Groove Galaxy Records.

Most customers came looking for the latest soul, funk, and rock albums. But on one unforgettable afternoon, fate had something else in mind.

Among stacks of vinyl records and dusty crates of forgotten treasures, an eccentric music professor named Professor Theodore Funk spotted something strange. They weren't records. They weren't speakers. And they certainly weren't anything he had ever seen before.

Resting on a shelf in the back corner of the store sat a pair of sleek metallic headphones unlike any technology of 1974. Their chrome surfaces shimmered with shifting colors. Tiny lights pulsed beneath transparent panels. Strange symbols glowed faintly around the earcups.

"Must be some kind of Hollywood science-fiction movie prop," Theodore chuckled.

The shop owner shrugged. "Been sitting there for weeks. Nobody knows where they came from. The inside label says Kronos Phones... whatever that means!"

The Transmission

Unable to resist a mystery, Professor Funk purchased the headphones and carried them home. That evening, sitting in his study surrounded by records, instruments, and stacks of research notes, he carefully lifted the strange device and placed it over his ears.

For a moment... nothing happened.

Then suddenly — a burst of static. A flash of blue light. And a voice. A real voice. Echoing directly inside his mind.

"Professor Funk? Professor Theodore Funk? It's going to be hard for you to believe this... but we're talking to you from the future. And we desperately need your help."

The room trembled. The lights flickered. The glowing symbols on the headphones began spinning faster and faster.

"There's not much time. The Funk Frequency is collapsing. If we lose it, history itself could be rewritten."

Professor Funk stared into the darkness, his heart pounding. Only one question escaped his lips.

"Who are you?"

A long silence followed. Then the answer came.

"We're your descendants. And you're the only one who can save the future."

Why This Story Lives in Every Design

At T-lishus Funk, we didn't build a brand around a logo or a trend. We built it around a frequency — the same one Professor Funk carried in his bones in 1974. The belief that music, color, art, and self-expression are not luxuries. They are survival.

Every piece in our T-Shirts collection and The Art Gallery is a transmission from that frequency. Bold. Unapologetic. Built to be felt, not just worn.

The story is just beginning.
